DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE NON SURGICAL NOSE JOB & TRADITIONAL SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY
RECOVERY TIME

Traditional
The traditional nose surgery requires the use of general anesthesia. This can increase your risk of experiencing dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Also, this surgery requires several weeks of downtime. You will also need to wait a few months before you can see the final results of your procedure.

Nonsurgical
Unlike traditional nose surgery, this method only takes several minutes. In less than an hour, you can immediately see the results of this procedure. Also, the downtime is minimal. Usually, swelling and bruising are completely gone after 2 weeks. The good thing about this procedure is that you can immediately resume work or social life after.
RESULTS

Traditional
Unlike fillers, the results of this surgery are permanent and may last for several years.

Nonsurgical
The results of this procedure may last for several months but you will need more than one treatment. Usually, you will need to undergo another treatment to achieve optimal results. Also, you will need maintenance shots a few times a year to prevent your nose from losing its volume.
FAQS
The cost of this procedure may vary. You should keep in mind that the total costs will depend on several factors such as the following:
- The amount and type of fillers used
- The medical facility or clinic
- Your desired results
- Your surgeon’s fee
Usually, this procedure is much less expensive than traditional nose surgery. To get an accurate estimate of the total costs, we recommend that you book a consultation with us. During your consultation, we will provide a detailed explanation of what you will pay for. This ensures that you will gain a complete understanding of your expenses.
The treatment is not painful. Before the procedure, your surgeon will apply an anesthetic cream to numb the area. During the injection process, you may feel slight discomfort but this is tolerable.
The procedure will not make your nose look bigger. Your nose will remain the same size. It will only add volume to the small depressions in your nose.
This procedure has the following risks and complications:
- Allergic reaction
- Bruising at the injection site
- Changes in skin sensation
- Fever
- Filler can migrate under your eyes
- Nausea
- Severe skin redness
- Swelling
- Tissue death
- Vision changes
- Vomiting
During a non-surgical nose job, your surgeon will apply a numbing cream to your nose. The target areas will then be injected with fillers using a fine needle. Your surgeon will massage your nose between injections to distribute the filler. Once the desired shape is achieved, your surgeon will wipe your nose with clean gauze. This removes blood and excess solution in the area. The entire process can take 15 to 30 minutes to complete.
Unlike traditional nose surgery, this procedure offers a high level of safety. To achieve your desired results, you should choose a qualified surgeon. You should keep in mind that the nose has several arteries. If one of these is accidentally hit with a needle, it can cause bleeding or permanent nerve damage. Make sure to check the qualifications of your surgeon before having the treatment.
A week before your treatment, you should avoid medications that can cause bleeding. These include aspirin, vitamin E supplements, ibuprofen, and certain supplements. During your consultation, we will assess your health history and current medications. This allows us to check for any factor that can interfere with the results of your treatment.
This treatment is not for everyone. You are not an ideal candidate for the procedure if:
- You are allergic to the filler or any of its components.
- You are breastfeeding.
- You are pregnant.
- You have a bleeding or clotting disorder.
- You want to reduce the size of your nose.
- You want to significantly improve the appearance of your nose.
- Your skin is swollen, infected, or irritated.
The good news is that changes made to your nose by the procedure are completely reversible. The fillers used are temporary and they can be dissolved with a special solution. Once the injected fillers are dissolved, your nose will return to its original shape.
After your treatment, you should not apply pressure on your nose for 1 to 2 weeks. This prevents the injected filler from going to other tissues. As a result, the shape of your nose can change. Your surgeon will provide specific instructions on how to care for your new nose before you go home.
