“Feather Touch is a form of eyebrow tattooing available in Perth that can define your brows and improve your overall look”
Thanks to runway trends and social media, eyebrows have never been such an integral part of our daily routines. After all, a well-groomed pair of brows frame the entire face and emphasise your best features.
Today’s brow trends favour those thick eyebrows that have never seen a pair of tweezers; however, we unfortunately weren’t all born with that perfect brow shape. Worse, many of us are haunted by our younger days, when we over-plucked our brows until they were pencil thin.
In an attempt to achieve that natural, bushy look, so many of us dedicate time each morning to pencil in our brows. Despite that, eyebrow pencils, gels and pomades can be hard to manoeuvre. Luckily, there’s now an easier way to achieve beautiful, natural-looking brows, called Feather Touch.
Here at Dr Anh’s Cosmetic Clinic in Perth, we perform Feather Touch Brows in a luxury setting located in the Crown Metropol. Our beauty therapist, Nadine, has a special interest in cosmetic tattooing and brow shaping and has made Feather Touch her trademark treatment here at Dr Anh’s clinic.
With every client, Nadine aims to achieve a natural arch shape, the perfect brow colour and natural appearance. Learn more about how Feather Touch Brows can transform your entire look (and shorten your morning routine) here.
A new tattooing system for your brows
Sculpted, bold brows frame the eyes and improve your facial features. They can also create a more polished look, and with cosmetic tattooing, you can achieve this without spending hours in front of the mirror. Feather Touch is a new tattooing system that uses a minute needle to build up your own brows, creating a natural-looking and semi-permanent result.

What are Feather touch Brows
If you are looking for a way to maintain the perfect brow 24/7, through long days at the office, sweaty workouts and even dips in the pool, cosmetic eyebrow tattooing may be the ideal solution.
Also known as microblading or eyebrow feathering, Feather Touch Brows is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique designed to create the illusion of fuller, more defined brows by tattooing individual hair-like strokes into the skin. Whether you are looking for a subtle, natural finish or a bold brow effect, Feather Touch Brows can completely transform your look.
Rather than a traditional tattoo gun, Feather Touch Brows uses a small, handheld tool to manually draw delicate hair strokes whilst simultaneously depositing pigment under the skin. The result? Natural-looking brow hairs that won’t wash off at the end of the day.
Unlike the traditional, permanent eyebrow tattoo techniques that produce heavy, blocky-looking results, Feather Touch Brows work to achieve a seamless adjustment to your existing brow shape. The eyebrow feathering technique creates a far more natural result that can be adjusted to your natural brows and preferred result.
Advantages of Feather Touch Brows
Feather Touch is a cosmetic tattooing solution that can help:
- Fix asymmetrical brows
- Fill in patchy brows with sparse hair growth
- Create a natural arch, even in brows that don’t naturally have this
- Minimise the time you spend looking after your brows
- Save you money on regular brow tinting appointments and makeup
For all of these reasons, Feather Touch Brows are the ultimate solution for “lazy beauty girls” who want to have a fierce brow shape without having to attend fortnightly maintenance appointments.

Creating The perfect Brow
Feather Touch Brows are rapidly increasing in popularity, thanks to the natural results that can be achieved. However, creating the perfect brow is a process that involves the careful selection of pigment colour and brow shape.
Prior to your eyebrow tattoo procedure, you will need to see Nadine for a consultation at our Perth cosmetic clinic. As an experienced beauty therapist, Nadine will work with you to determine the perfect brow shape and colour to suit your other facial features.
Feather Touch Brows are available in a wide range of shades, from the lightest blonde to the deepest black. In order to create the most natural-looking results, Nadine will consider your hair colour, eye colour and natural skin tone when colour-matching. Likely, she will use a blend of multiple colours to create a dimensional look to ensure that any additional hairline strokes around the natural brow go undetected.
To achieve your desired brow shape, Nadine will measure up your eyebrows using a special microblading ruler. She will most likely follow your natural brow shape unless you have another look in mind. Get in touch to book your consultation with Nadine today.
what to expect During the procedure
As mentioned, you will see Nadine for a consultation prior to your Feather Touch Brow appointment. During your consultation, Nadine will review your medical history to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. She will also discuss your desired cosmetic outcome with you, whether that is to simply fill in some gaps or reshape your brows completely.
On the day of your eyebrow tattoo appointment, Nadine will measure your face and draw an outline of your new brows. Before proceeding with the microblade, she will ensure that you are completely happy with the shape and ask if there are any adjustments you’d like made. She will also confirm your choice of pigment by showing you a range of shades that may be suitable for your skin tone. Once this is all confirmed, a numbing cream will be applied to the skin.
During the procedure itself, Nadine will use a very fine microblade tool to create individual strokes in your eyebrow. While it may feel a bit scratchy at first, the anaesthetic will help keep you comfortable during the process. Nadine will do two passes over each eyebrow to ensure optimal results. Within just one hour, you can expect to have a beautiful new set of brows.
what to expect after the procedure
Immediately after your eyebrow feathering, you may notice some slight redness, swelling and soreness, although this should all subside within 24 hours. While your brows will look incredible right away, you can expect the colour to look a bit darker than expected. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of the skin and has not settled in yet. You can expect the pigment to soften gradually over the following week.
As the skin begins to heal, you may experience some slight flaking, similar to dry skin or dandruff flakes. This is very normal. Ultimately, to ensure the most beautiful, long-lasting results, be sure to carefully follow the aftercare instructions given by the Dr Anh team.
How much do Feather Touch Brows cost in Perth
As a semi-permanent solution, Feather Touch Brows do not come cheap. In order to achieve your desired brow look, we strongly suggest seeing a highly experienced beauty therapist, which does mean paying a premium price. Despite this, just think of all the money you will save on brow tinting appointments and makeup products!
At our Perth Cosmetic Clinic, an initial Feather Touch Brow treatment is $600. Keep in mind that you will need to return for a touch-up treatment at six weeks, which will come to an additional $200. After this, we suggest coming in for additional touch-ups every 12 to 18 months, depending on the longevity of your results.
FAQS
Anyone looking for a long-lasting brow transformation is a suitable candidate for Feather Touch Brows. We can create the illusion of naturally full brows on any skin tone and any brow shade.
If you are considering cosmetic eyebrow tattooing, please keep in mind that certain skin types are less able to retain pigment in the skin. This includes very oily skin types or people who use active skincare ingredients, such as AHAs and retinol excessively. Eyebrow feathering is also unsuitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
To perfect and optimise the longevity of your results, all Feather Touch Brow clients return to the clinic four to six weeks after their initial appointment for a retouch session. During this appointment, your beauty therapist will ensure that you are happy with your results and make any needed adjustments to the colour and shape of your brows.
The pre-treatment instructions for Feather Touch Brows are relatively simple. All we ask is that your brows are untinted and that you avoid using any AHAs, BHAs, retinol or exfoliants on your skin for at least three days before your eyebrow tattoo treatment.
Feather Touch Brows are semi-permanent, meaning that the pigment in your brows will fade over time. You can expect your results to last between 12 to 24 months, depending on your skin type. For instance, clients with oily or very dry, flaky skin may find that they need a touch-up treatment sooner, especially if they have chosen a lighter pigment.
Our highly experienced beauty therapist will examine your natural brows and other facial features to determine which shape and colour will best suit you. However, you are welcome to bring in images of the brow styles you like, which can help your beauty therapist determine the kind of look you are after.
While Feather Touch Brows are a form of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing, they only achieve a semi-permanent result. This is because the hair-like strokes created during eyebrow feathering are not as deeply ingrained into the skin as ink with a tattoo gun. Additionally, Feather Touch Brows use a pigment rather than tattoo ink, which is eventually metabolised by the body. These dye particles are also less concentrated than tattoo ink, which gives the brows a softer, more realistic appearance.
Feather Touch is a form of cosmetic tattooing that mimics the look of natural hairs. After we have applied a numbing cream to the skin to prevent discomfort, we will create an outline of your ideal brow shape. Fine hairlines are then etched onto the skin by implanting micro-pigments below the epidermis, a technique known as microblading. This hair stroke technique works to create full, feather-like brows that appear even, soft, and beautifully arched.
No, your Feather Touch Brow procedure should not be painful, especially since we apply a numbing cream prior to treatment. You may feel a bit of pressure and hear light etching noises; however, most clients describe the overall treatment as relatively tolerable.
In the days following your eyebrow feathering treatment, we suggest washing the area daily with a gentle soap to remove any bacteria, product build-up and oils. Be careful not to rub the area too hard, as this can remove the pigment.
You will need to avoid any heat for at least a week, including strenuous, sweaty exercise, steamy showers, and excessive sun exposure. Be sure to wear an SPF of 30+ daily. In addition, we suggest restricting your use of exfoliating acids, including AHAs and BHAs, as this can fade your brows faster. Finally, you should not undergo any cosmetic skin treatments, such as injectables, microdermabrasion or facials for at least three weeks, unless prescribed by Dr Anh.
The first session of Feather Touch usually fades faster, depending on your skin’s reaction to the pigment in the ink. This will give you time to assess your brows, and if you do not wish to maintain the shaped brow look, you can simply stop having your yearly touch-ups, and the treatment will fade naturally.
Yes, we can recreate any brow colour, which ensures that your results look as natural as possible. In fact, multiple colours are typically used to create further dimension that blends with your natural brow shape.
